Have you ever had a dry, tickly, chronic cough that lasted longer than a month? What do you think caused it? If you have ruled out any medical causes or allergies, consider that you might be straining to be heard.
Feeling heard is one of the biggest issues many of us deal with and if we don't feel heard it can manifest in different ways. Louise Hay, in You Can Heal Your Life, says coughing is a desire to bark at the world: “See me! Listen to me!”.
Rate how true her phrase feels when you say it out loud, 10 being true and 0 being false: “I am noticed and appreciated in the most positive ways. I am loved”, if you have any tailenders or objections to this statement you can start tapping on them.

I am up in the middle of the night in Canada, coughing that dry, hacking cough you spoke of. In desperation and panic I got onto YouTube and found this article by you and started Tapping. You hit the mark. I also Tapped on Louise's statement. Whenever "this" cough creeped in, I would freak out as I would pull r neck muscles and ribs would pop it's so fierce. Now I know the root cause! I took responsibility for it and Tapped it away. I feel overjoyed. Calm. Empowered. Bless you for sharing this.

That's great Deborah, I'm delighted for you!
Thank you very much for sharing, I always worry to have cough, it gets with me for several months,I will try to understand the origin of that and try to heal myself from inside out
Good for you. I used to have a cough that lasted for months, it was caused by a post nasal drip that came from my sinuses. It used to drive me nuts but I haven't had it for years now. It could be a food allergy/intolerance too, so a bit of detective work is good. Follow your gut :-)
