What is my intention?

Intention is the core of all conscious life.
Conscious intention colours and moves everything.
~ Master Hsing Yun

This is the one of the most important questions you can ask your self in life. Asking the question 'What is my intention?' helps you to get clear and focused on what you are intending to have happen, with anything. Write your answers down. You'll probably be amazed at what you write, and it's all good, you can use it all in your tapping, every single bit of it.

By banishing doubt and trusting your intuitive feelings,
you clear a space for the power of intention to flow through.
~ Wayne Dyer

If your intention is to: get rid of “it”, tap “it” away, want “it” gone and so on, while totally understandable, “it”, very likely, is not going to budge. In fact you'll probably feel worse and if you don't, you'll probably only have temporary relief from “it”. One of the best things you can do in this case is to tap on your frustration, rage, anger, resentment, or overwhelm that “it” is still here. And while you're at it, describe in detail what “it” is to you, write it down so you can re-read what you have written. Get really really clear on why you want to get rid of whatever “it” is.

Intentions compressed into words enfold magical power.
~ Deepak Chopra

If your intention is to have true health and you're willing to do what it takes, your intention, or approach, will be different. You'll realise at some stage that wanting the symptoms gone doesn't solve or heal anything. Pushing through your physical or emotional pain, or avoiding it, fighting it, battling it, or wanting to get rid of it, just makes that pain have to scream even louder because you're not listening. You're not listening to what is really going on. We all want the quick fix sometimes, but we miss what Carol Look calls the 'energetic invitation'. The invitation to be aware, the invitation to be at peace, the invitation to be kind to our self, the invitation to accept and love our self exactly as we are now, which, as Carl Rogers says, paradoxically helps us to change.

Intention moves energy.

it really works very often. and as it works very often then i think it will work all of the time if we practice conscious intention.

Trisha, when I the read The Power of Intention by Wayne Dyer, I changed my mind completely about intention. It's not something we have to force or struggle for, it's an energy we're a part if we'd only remember to tune in :-)I love this quote by Carlos Casteneda "Intent is a force that exists in the Universe. When sorcerers (those who live of the Source) beckon intent, it comes to them and sets up the path for attainment, which means that those who live of the Source always accomplish what they set out to do".
